Pallet Garden Challenge 2009
Beautiful Scotland would like to encourage your Beautiful Scotland or Neighbourhood Award group to take part in the 5th SGF Pallet Garden Challenge at Gardening Scotland, Ingliston Showground on Friday 29th May, Saturday 30th May & Sunday 31st May 2009.
The challenge aims to encourage and foster future generations of young gardeners as well as make the weekend a fun and memorable experience for all.
Last year Beautiful Scotland entered for the first time and received a Silver Gilt Medal from the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society judges. This year we are aiming for Gold!
The 2008 Beautiful Scotland’s winning garden aimed to show that by sowing the seeds, a community can improve its environment, enter the campaign, and ‘reap the rewards’ for its hard work throughout the year. The garden was designed in three sections – Community, Children and Biodiversity which are all key themes of the Beautiful Scotland campaign - divided by a recycled glass path.
If you think you may be interested in taking part, please read the competition rules and then fill out & send in your application form today! If you would like further information please give Carole Wilson at Beautiful Scotland a call on 01786 463 485 or email her at carole.wilson@ksbscotland.org.uk
We hope to see you there!
